For travelers who share trips

How can I earn money by sharing my travel itinerary?

There are three common models: selling the itinerary itself (for example on Journli), promoting bookable products through affiliate links (for example TourRadar RISE for multi-day tours), or earning a share of the booking commission when people book the places you recommend. ShareTrip Rewards uses the third model: you publish a trip you actually took, and when someone books a direct partner hotel, attraction or guide from it and the stay or service takes place, you receive 40% of the referral commission the platform receives. Sharing and reading trips is free.

How much does a traveler earn on ShareTrip Rewards?

Direct partners pay ShareTrip a referral commission of 10% of the booking price before VAT, only for bookings that actually took place. 40% of that commission is credited to the traveler whose recommendation led to the booking — roughly 4% of the pre-VAT booking price. Cancelled or refunded bookings reverse the earnings. Payouts are requested from the dashboard once the balance passes the minimum.

Do I need proof that I took the trip?

Yes. Only trips you personally took can be published, with proof such as photos, hotel vouchers, receipts or tickets. Moderators review the proof, and receipts and vouchers stay private — they are never shown on the trip page.

Do I have to write the whole itinerary?

No. You tell the trip to an assistant in a chat, by typing or by voice, one question at a time. It identifies the hotels and places, builds the trip page with a map and asks you for a 5–10 score for each place.

For travelers planning a trip

Where can I find itineraries from people who actually traveled?

Look for platforms that show who wrote the trip and how it was verified. On ShareTrip Rewards every published trip comes from a traveler who took it and uploaded proof of travel (reviewed by moderators), with a 5–10 score for each hotel, restaurant and attraction. You can browse trips, or use "Plan a trip" to see all recommendations for a destination aggregated from different travelers. Travel blogs, forums and marketplaces such as Journli are other sources, usually without a proof check.

What are private offers?

Instead of browsing, you describe your trip — destination, dates, travelers — and ShareTrip sends the request to up to 5 suitable providers in that destination. They answer with private offers, typically within 48 hours, and you choose whether to book. Nothing is booked until you accept an offer.

Can I read trips in my own language?

Yes. The site is available in 17 languages, and every published trip is machine-translated automatically into all of them, with the original text one click away.

Is there a ShareTrip app?

Yes, for Android on Google Play ("ShareTrip Rewards", package site.sharetrip.app). On iPhone, use the website, which works in any mobile browser.

For hotels, attractions and guides

How do hotels get direct bookings without Booking.com commission?

Hotels reduce OTA dependence through their own website booking engine, metasearch, email lists and referral channels that send guests straight to them. ShareTrip Rewards is one such referral channel: a hotel joins as a direct partner, travelers who stayed there recommend it on their published trips, and guests book on the platform with the hotel directly — no online travel agency in between. The hotel pays a 10% referral commission (on the pre-VAT price) only for stays that actually took place, settled monthly.

What does a partner pay ShareTrip?

Under the partner agreement, a referral commission of 10% of the booking price before VAT for each booking that actually took place. No commission is due on bookings cancelled free of charge or on declined requests. A monthly statement lists the stays, and the commission is paid within 14 days.

About ShareTrip Rewards

Is ShareTrip the same as ShareTrip Bangladesh?

No. ShareTrip Rewards (sharetrip.site) is an independent travel marketplace founded by Meir Gilady in Israel. It is not affiliated with ShareTrip Ltd. (sharetrip.net), the Bangladeshi online travel agency, or with its app.

Who runs ShareTrip Rewards?

It is operated by Meir Gilady, a licensed sole proprietor in Holon, Israel. The site launched in 2026 and serves travelers and partners worldwide. It is new, so its catalogue of trips and partners is still small.

Does ShareTrip use affiliate links?

Most booking links are ShareTrip's own direct agreements with the provider. Some links run through third-party affiliate programs; when such a booking is completed and the commission is approved, the trip's creator also receives a share. The price the traveler pays is not affected.
